In the US, it’s easy to vote if you want to vote. For people who don’t want to vote, I don’t see a need to bend over backwards to get them to vote.
Where I live, the electoral board, under normal conditions, has a hard time getting people to be election officers at the polls. This year it’s much worse since most election officers are retired people who, with good reason, want to avoid other people. Getting people to work two day polling would be extremely difficult. Getting people to work overnight is impossible.

Good grief, John! Worried about how the drugs he’s getting are affecting his mind? If short-term steroid use under strict medical supervision were temperamentally or intellectually incapacitating, the streets would be full of psychotic asthmatics. This is just ridiculous. Trump is not a weight lifter self-administering anabolic steroids and likely to go into ‘roid rage.
I am glad I’m not the only person who thought this. I’ve used prednisone Countless times over a lifetime of having severe asthma. John is the person who sounded psychotic to me talking about this.
Steroids are used in many, many kinds of medical treatment protocols and in every conceivable form: IV, injections, oral medications, creams, drops, and inhalations, for all kinds of problems. Most of them are not incapacitating.
