It’s November 3. Much of the country has re-imposed lockdown restrictions. Businesses are failing in record numbers. The nation’s education system is teetering on the brink. And Election Day is typified by long lines at a truncated number of polling places and a record number of absentee ballots that will take weeks to tally. This perfectly thinkable scenario could have disastrous results.

two full pages in NY Times today on Trump admin and vaccine. They do their best to be critical of Trump, but best they can do is that vaccine before election day will not have been tested enough.  But looks like WH doing very good job of moving multiple vaccines thru approval process while not doing harm.

I think a big mistake Trump has made is in not engaging with democrat voters.  Yes many would be rude and disruptive, but there must be ways he could patiently respond directly to their questions, claims and allegations.  Especially if he could get the democrats to answer questions and respond to republican debate points.  ( harm of generous unemployment benefits, immigrants depress wages of working class, what to do about China, great danger of deficit spending )

Consider that Trump is the only republican who could get an audience of Blacks to listen to him.
