As the president’s poll numbers continue to decline, Donald Trump’s campaign has replaced its campaign manager. But the campaign has been far more focused on making the case against the president’s opponent than the president himself. Also, has the public’s anxiety over a new surge of COVID cases outpaced the rate of new infections?

clearly Trump has to govern better.

Appoint a virus czar. Give that person complete authority to make some progress on treatment and getting people back into public spaces.  The public should be hearing every week from someone in charge as to what treatments are working, which doctors are getting great results. Tell us about vaccines, put out calls for volunteers to be given a vaccine and be monitored.

On the economy Trump could become a deficit and federal spending hawk. Cut unemployment. Even raise taxes.  Get Biden and democrats to be the party of out of control government spending and voters who do not want to work.

Oppose BLM and the rioters.  Assert the right of people to call the police when they are threatened with violence or are victims of a crime. Have the DOJ convene a grand jury to investigate if mayors have deliberately denied protection to citizens and property.

The LA teacher’s union proposal reminds me of the Green New Deal.  Both have lots of nutty proposals that have nothing to do with the problem being addressed.

The polls don’t mean a thing. They’re polling registered voters and over sampling democrats. Remember Dukakis had a 17 point lead over Bush. Polls are meant to demoralize Trump supporters. When likely voters start paying attention and come to realize how radical the Democrats have become the polls will change.

The candidate is not the biggest problem, it’s the propaganda the media feeds everyone.

but Trump is not doing anything. Heck, the entire republican party does not have a plan.   Here is an example. It is very important that the country counter China, not import so much, do not borrow money from them, prevent Chinese in the US from stealing our IP.  Where is the plan from republicans to manufacture more in the US? Who is in charge of keeping an eye on Chinese students and professors at American universities?

Trump’s behavior and the total and absolute incompetence of the White House and Political Staff may show that Trump wants to unconsciously lose.  It is like they are having a slow motion nervous breakdown.  They are so incompetent that if they did the exact opposite on every issue of what jaered kushner  and Ivanka believes they would always be correct.  Plus Trump and the campaign will cost Republicans the Senate.  A total disaster.
