This podcast is making a good point, but the title needs to be corrected. JPod gets the ratio of negative reactions correct in the podcast itself, at about 5:40 — the ratio is .00000088, which is 6 in 6.8 million. Expressing this as a percentage, moves the decimal point two spaces to the right, so the percentage is .000088%.
I hope that this was just a typo, rather than another sign of widespread innumeracy.
