I very much enjoy Commentary and am actually a paid subscriber. However, with all due respect Thomas Sowell has been arguing the cultural issue for decades. In many respect this entire episode can be heard in Thomas Sowell interviews from 1980. I really wish there had been a shout out to Dr. Sowell somewhere in the podcast. All this data is in several of Dr. Sowell’s books. In other words….there is really nothing new here.
Good interview. I haven’t listened to your podcast much recently.
You probably need to have Wilfred Reilly back more often.
There is no reason not to continue Thomas Sowell’s research and insights. Wilfred Reilly may be standing on the culture of a giant but at least he is speaking plain reality and he backs it up with data.
I wish that Christine Rosen would realize that left wingers are immune to reason already and quite pretending that there is anything like the racism on the right that there is on the left. The left-wing of America has manipulated and condescended America black in the late 1960s and everything they done after the Lyndon Baines Johnson has been hurt black-Americans, in particular the poor.
