The Attorney General of New York, Letitia James, is suing the National Rifle Association and seeking the group’s dissolution. But, politically, the issue of gun rights has always favored gun owners, and the effort may backfire on Democrats. Also, Donald Trump is seeking to force Chinese firms with holdings in certain apps to sell their stakes, but those firms also have a stake in several popular gaming platforms. That, too, threatens to mobilize a constituency that Republicans don’t understand. Are both parties awakening sleeping giants?

For Biden and the diversity of blacks. I think white liberals are more easily offended about this than blacks. But the white liberals also don’t have anywhere to go.
I want to give John Podhoretz a Hyperbole Award for suggesting that restricting a video gaming company is tantamount to committing “an act of war.” (36:20)
Also, Christine mentions Huawei and TikTok as being similar, and suggests that the threat is “a possibility”(39:55). The two really aren’t very much alike, except that China is involved in each. The data privacy threat represented by TikTok, while significant, pales in comparison to the danger of Huawei building out our 5G network. Banning Huawei, and encouraging Europe to do the same, was just common sense.
