I think Governor Desantis has learned from McCain, Romney, and Trump to be more aggressive with the left but avoid the crudeness. The first two were not aggressive, and lost. Trump was. But his demeanor caused problems.
I agree, DeSantis picks his fights and is well versed prior to the fight –
