What an obnoxious headline. And what a great idea to insult people you want to take your experimental vaccine.
Direct quote from the clownish J-Pod:
It goes on from there.
And what’s J-Pod’s worry? That if the people he loathes won’t do as he commands, they might force his kid to wear a mask and they might shut down Broadway again.
How about you complain to the politicians who do the useless lockdowns and mask mandates instead of insulting people who won’t behave as you command.
Ugh.
Who said it was not manly to refuse the vaccine? Whether or not to get the vaccine is something I call freedom. Take that away, and you have something called tyranny.
People may criticize the choices others make, and that’s fine. However, I prefer to be free to make my own decisions, especially when it concerns what I put into my body. I never get flu or allergy shots, but my wife does. Guess who sneezes all the time and gets sick more often? Not me . . .
Well, as they say: take what you want and pay for it.
It’s not manly to resist peer pressure.
I know a number of vaccine hesitant folks and not one has said he’s not getting the vaccine because he’s tough or manly.
A farmer could really enjoy all this straw JPod has used to make this argument.
I don’t get why John et al. are going on and on about the vaccine. Those of us who feel we need the protection have gotten it or are free to get it. Many people I know who are young and healthy feel that getting Covid is less of a risk than getting the vaccine. I’ve had my vaccine, so there’s very little risk of my getting Covid and if I do get it there is very little risk of me requiring hospitalization or dying.
It’s the American way to let people make their own decisions about their lives when the risk is so low.
I don’t think trhe numbers are going to change significantly. I believe everyone who wants it has already gotten it, and those who don’t have made the firm decision not to. From here on out, I worry the government and private sector will move from persuasion to constant nagging, then finally force . . .
Update: I read a news article somewhere that said only 16% of the unvaccinated polled said they plan on getting the shot.
Yep. These things. I don’t know anyone who desperately wants this vaccine and hasn’t been able to get it. That wasn’t true several months ago, but heck, they’re giving them away with Happy Meals these days.
But I wonder when our pushy elites will figure out that “get the goddamn shot you sissy!” isn’t exactly good marketing.
In fact, such methods as are being used and recommended (door to door, making it mandatory, continuing to use the universally-loathed “Doctor” Fauci as your pitchman, etc.) are only making me even more skeptical.
I’d love to see Dr. Fauci knock on a door, and a huge biker answers. Think Dr. F will call that guy a sissy?
He might, because he’s always been protected by the media and his Democrat pals. He might be so out of touch he doesn’t even know how loathed he is.
