And….Tucker Carlson is pro-Putin, correct? What was really hilarious was last night hearing Continetti on Special Report wistfully observing that had Romney won in 2012 we would now be in the second term of a Paul Ryan presidency. Wouldn’t that be grand. Better than the current president I guess but it’s debatable how much better.
Tucker Carlson isn’t pro anything except pro Tucker and pro Tucker’s ratings. He knows his audience and regularly throws them the red meat they crave.
Anyone who believes that we can avoid war by watching Putin stomp all over neighboring countries and beyond, is naive in the extreme. We either fight him now or we fight him later, but we will end up fighting him.
Right now Putin is the world policeman and not the USA. That’s what happens when America has a weak and ignorant President. It is not good for anyone.
One could argue that Obama handed over the reigns of world policeman to Putin when Assad called Obama’s bluff on his chemical weapons red line.
Obama drew a red line on the use of chemical weapons in Syria –> Assad used them on his own people anyway –> Obama did nothing –> Russia offers to remove/destroy Assad’s chemical weapons stockpile –> Obama agreed to this settlement –> the Trump administration discovers Obama was duped by Russia when Assad uses chemical weapons on his own people again in 2017 –> Trump orders airstrikes on Syrian military targets (and US special forces wipe out 200 or so Russian forces in Syria in a secret (but not so secret)) engagement.
Now we’re back to talk tough but do nothing with the vice president from the weak Obama administration now an even weaker ineffectual president.
