In addition, the Ricochet Audio Network offers over 50 original podcasts with new episodes released every day.
In this week’s first podcast, Noah Rothman, Abe Greenwald, and John Podhoretz say many different things about the Russian hacking and the election, and about hacking in general, and try to keep it interesting even though they kept having to interrupt themselves because of sirens going on outside their window.
Also, why shouldn’t prospective cabinet appointments be like Miss Americas? Give a listen.

Maybe someday in the next 4-8 years, Trump will do something that Jonah Goldberg does not consider a grave threat to the American Republic.
Maybe someday.
Did you mean to post this to GLoP? That may be later this week, I hope.
John’s comments about Rex Tillerson lead me to suspect that he has no idea what it takes to rise to the top of a company like ExxonMobil, much less to run it successfully for years. Suffice it to say that, should Tillerson be nominated for Secretary of State, he is unlikely to disgrace himself in his Senate hearings. I will even go so far as to predict that as Secretary, Tillerson will exceed the lofty standards set by his immediate predecessors. For example, he will probably not be visiting countries attended by folk singers. Nor, I believe, will his sole accomplishment while in office be miles traveled.
I agree with Richard’s comments on Rex Tillerson. John Podhoretz displayed a real ignorance of the skills and breadth of knowledge it would take to run a company of Exxon’s size. Also, where is the investigative research into Mr. Tillerson’s world viewpoints and leadership style? To wax so dramatically on the folly of the pick and not have any facts left me wondering why I was bothering to listen to the podcast.
I am just going to leave it up as is, uncorrected, as a warning to others of the shame that will be attached to those who click “comment” without proof-reading.
Ditto to above. John needs to do some research on ExxonMobil before commenting on their work.
