One of my Federal Senators posted on Facebook about the current Israel/Hamas war. He is an older, long time Democrat. His post is unambiguously pro-Israel. I presume most of his followers are Democrats. Most of the comments are pro-Hamas. Of the minority of comments that agree with him, most are along the line of “I normally disagree with you, but you’re right about this”, so I presume they are Republicans. This indicates that active Democrats who will post online are heavily pro-Hamas, and Republicans are the opposite. I remember when Democrats where generally pro-Israel.
That last comment Abe made is totally wrong if you ask me. He said that no administration could be expected to run things normally in the space of 4-5 months after Trump. In my opinion there has been precious little “science” coming out of the NIH and the CDC throughout the pandemic. Biden officials saying they were blindsided by the CDC is total BS. The CDC has consistently put out propaganda for Democrats and very little else. I think they are instructed by the Biden WH on just what “science” they should spout and that Wallensky woman is castigated if she gets it wrong and blamed if it goes wrong and she doesn’t mind. She is either an idiot or a brainwashed leftist or both. As for Fauci, why anyone listens to him about anything is beyond me. He could very well turn out to be a major reason we have Covid. Thank God for Big Pharma. There doesn’t seem to be an honest or decent person in government.
Went to Target here in Virginia. Vaccinated folks don’t need to wear a mask in the store as of today. The checkers weren’t wearing masks.
I was in a Virginia restaurant Sunday evening. All the signs about requiring masks had been taken down. I did not wear one. But the staff all had masks.
We went out to a restaurant on Friday night (North Carolina). No one was required to wear a mask but signs posted said your server would wear one if you, the patron, requested it.
Missouri was one of nine states to never have a mask requirement and one of the largest ones I think after Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.
I think employees are still wearing masks around here.
I went to the mall right before it closed. At first it looked like a mausoleum, but I guess 60% of the stores are still around with a lot of them closed early already. I didn’t wear a mask there, but I did wear one at Wal-Mart where there was more activity.
