You can tell Pod cares too much about pop culture when refers to Joaquin Castro as Joaquin Phoenix, and I was thinking “really, dude from Joker is opining on Israeli arms sales”

also the point of the Commission isn’t to find out what happened, it’s to make Congressional Republicans culpable leading into the midterms

I was a subscriber to Commentary, but I dropped it a while back when I determined that they were more interested in selling the dominant narrative rather than uncompromising devotion to facts.

When they refer to 1/6, they poke fun at any possible provocateur influence in the crowd. They ignore the case of John Sullivan, a known Antifa agitator who was seen actively inciting violence and participating in the destruction of property. Were there other provocateurs in the crowd? If the media won’t report honestly about this case it raises doubts with me.

Somehow, John Sullivan, who was inside the Capitol building on 1/6, got bail while hundreds of others are in solitary confinement. You have to understand that facts like this lend credence to “deep state” conspiracies.

I wasn’t subscribed to Commentary, and then I subscribed a while back because they care about truth more than protecting the feelings of the Trumpist Right.

I don’t consider myself a “Trumpist”. I voted for him over Democrats, but I never voted for him in a Primary. I think he did a lot of damage to the Republican party. I guess anyone who actually pays attention and asks uncomfortable questions is a MAGA “Trumpist”.

Too many care too much about others being Trumpy Trumpists and ignore the concept of keeping agitators of the January 6 Capitol takeover in solitary confinement, or incarcerated at all, 5 months after the incident is effing insane.

Yet we all go along with our day to day lives while the Biden (D) Left take way on our civil liberties …. but watch out for those Trump Trumpists …. they are very, very dangerous don’t you know!
