The Biden administration’s homeland security secretary went on Good Morning America and suggested to those streaming across the border and the parents who are sending their kids across that they might want to wait until the administration sets up a better system. Are they kidding? No. Meanwhile, the Washington Post corrects itself on Trump and Dr. Fauci offers praise for his own supposed truth-telling. Give a listen.

I am a little late to comment here.  I decided to listen because of the WaPo story.  I stayed long enough to listen to the main podcaster’s embittered diatribe against Trump for “depressing” the Georgia vote during the Senate runoff, and thus facing the current parade of horribles. Both the democrats and the republicans pulled in about 400,000 votes fewer than in the Presidential election. Did Biden suppress the Democrat vote?  Trump campaigned in Georgia, drawing huge crowds. Did you see any huge crowds for Biden?  Did you all read the Time story? Do you think the election “fortifiers” quit after the presidential election.  The main podcaster should be praising Trump for growing the Republican Party by 10,000,000 voters in the Presidential election and making it more diverse than ever, and not through identity politics, but through patriotism and access to success in a fair and growing country. He should be castigating the weak-kneed half hearted Georgia Senate candidates and the ineffectual Georgia Republican Party before castigating Trump.  Trump brought them to the verge of victory despite the deluge of elite money and influence arrayed against them, but they could not manage the energy or gumption to finish the race. The facile and simple minded assertion that Trump was responsible for the Georgia loss is just that, facile and simple minded.
