I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but does the Commentary crew know… literally anything about Donald Trump? I mean, have they heard of a book called “The Art of the Deal”? Being willing to walk away is Trump’s signature move.
We know Trump didn’t write the book, the big question is: Has he read it? The book also points out that a good dealmaker never signals that he’s desperate for a deal – something that Trump did right after the markets tanked.
Seriously?
Trump doesn’t bother to read even his intelligence briefings, why would he bother to read something that was ghost written for him? Given that he ignores what is written in “his” book, my question is quite reasonable.
wow
The Deal being worked on is not some stimulus bill. It’s the general election. Whether this helps or hurts in that November deal is much of the discussion in the podcast.
