What are the chances that the crazed woke-ism exuded by Kamala Harris, Cortez, Omar, etc. is occurring in a vacuum? These people did not spring up — and get elected — by accident. They are expressing ideas that are being broadly accepted now.
Which means that a huuuuuge swath of the country now accepts them.
Huge.
Which does not bode well. And I’m not just talking about elections now, either. I’m talking about something far more important: The state of the culture.
I find John’s seeming enthusiasm for the efficacy of an emoluments charge unconvincing. President Trump appears to be losing money, and can reasonably argue that being president has cost him more, in financial terms, that any man ever to hold the office. Pitching this as some kind of get richer quick scheme seems like a stretch.
