Ricochet is the best place on the internet to discuss the issues of the day, either through commenting on posts or writing your own for our active and dynamic community in a fully moderated environment. In addition, the Ricochet Audio Network offers over 50 original podcasts with new episodes released every day.
On this week’s first COMMENTARY podcast, we take up the decision to halt work on the Dakota Pipeline due to the tactics of protesters and whether this provides the incoming Trump administration with the possibility of a win. We dispute the contention of Mike Pence that the free market is a loser, and argue over the Taiwan phone call like teenagers arguing over the phone.
Give a listen.

Excellent as always. That last 15 minutes was a lot of fun: “…Noah is shrugging…”.
I’m a big fan of the podcast but I am getting a little tired of the pavlovian Trump bashing. That is well-covered on other podcasts. I do respect the foray into describing industrial policy but I think it isn’t fair to think that Trump is going to pursue an industrial policy based on one (effective) publicity stunt.
My favorite part of this podcast, nearly every week, is the perfect opening song.
Exactly: perfect.
