This is not true. We will have to pay for it one way or another. Nobody will care until they go to the store and a gallon of milk is $50 if you can find it.
Speaking of nuts who wrote letters to news and political people, I remember that a lot of them would write essays on the outside of the envelope. They also wrote in the margins of news clips.
John’s comments about the vacillation of public officials’ comments of what is good practice or not in dealing with the virus is because a lot of what we are called on to do has no basis in science. Sorry to disappoint you, but that is just the fact. Let’s take the whole subject of lockdowns, for instance.
There is a new organization, which started in the Republic of South Africa (RSA) but is now global, that is using scientific evidence to fight the pattern of lockdowns being applied internationally against COVID-19. In the presentation, Hudson retraces the events and how lockdowns were adopted in early 2020 in spite of a past consensus against them. He describes why the lockdowns were not only unnecessary, but also how they have caused more deaths than they have saved. And of course as you know, the huge economic damage is ongoing.
