Holiday in the Wild

It’s Christmas in Zambia with Mary Katharine Ham and Lyndsey Fifield as they review the new Netflix movie, Holiday in the Wild, starring Rob Lowe and Kristin Davis. Lyndsey is the chief Zambia Correspondent for A Christmas Ham, having gotten married there just a few short months ago to a hunky man with dreamy eyes (whose name is not Rob Lowe).

When I first saw the picture on the Main Feed, I thought, “Damn, Lyndsey sure has changed her look.”

    Silly me. I guess I need new glasses . . .

I actually liked this movie as well. I only watched maybe the first 1/3 of it… Now I have been saved from having to watch the end ;)

There are a couple of strange Christmas shows – Christmas Knight, was another that while odd – a time traveling 13th century night, lands in a small town in new England, and must find true love by Christmas to break the evil spell … odd.

Then there was Lez Bomb… Which is more of a thanksgiving movie … but daughter is coming home with news… She’s trying to tell her parents – but they’re not listening … its every sit-com plot you’ve ever seen unfolding in this movie… She then panics and drops the bomb as they evacuate the house with the fire alarm blaring…

Good talk, would love to hear more from MKH.

Ok so Lyndsey may have been in Africa more recently but I recall that MK climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro for her honeymoon so she certainly had experience too. Question – was this one as downloaded as the first Netflix Christmas movie? I have yet to see any Netflix Christmas movies since I’m still too cheap frugal to get the download along with my beloved dvds.

Listened to the podcast today getting my news glasses made (for real).

The clip of Lyndsey’s confession on the failed podcast was priceless, as well as the sounds she made as MK said the name of the movie she was supposed to watch …

Maybe MK should watch it and you two do a comparison with Wild . . .

BTW, I went back and re-listened to the first LadyBrains podcast. It was good, but you ladies have gotten much better over the years. It did make me wonder what Amelia Hamilton’s up to now.
