In retrospect, Kevin McCarthy‘s decision, to pull all the Republican appointees from the committee after two of his choices were vetoed, looks like a mistake. As Byron implies, it would have been good to have somebody in the room when witnesses were being deposed.
And doing nothing about the two fake Republicans Nancy Pelosi put on the committee compounds the error. It permits the liberal media to call it a “bipartisan committee”. I actually saw that phrase used by the allegedly non-partisan publication, The Week.
