I felt terrible after criticizing the nostrils last time, but, yeah, he looks better without them! :) Thumbs up, EJ

I really like Jim Jordan and appreciate his tenacity in uncovering the Obama FBI/DOJ/IC abuses.

My question is how did Jim Jordan lose 159 to 43 for the (R) Congressional leadership position? Not to infer there is anything wrong with Kevin McCarthy, but again Jim Jordan strikes me as likable, earnest, hardworking fighter … where as I know very little about Kevin McCarthy.

    What am I missing?

@edisonparks, here in Ohio over the summer there was some bad press for Jordan over his time as an Ohio State asst. wrestling coach. The accusation was that he turned a blind eye to evidence of sexual abuse, etc. False accusations, in all likelihood, but I imagine there was fear the smear of a high ranking Republican would go national.

There’s also the suspicion, I suppose, that Jordan would’ve been less sympathetic to those members dealing with purple-district realities.

Not saying this reasoning is sound, but that’s the explanation, I’d say.

Can’t wait to hear who Bryon has on next. These first two interviews have been great!

What a great interview. Jim Jordan is just the kind of rep we need in Congress, and it’s a shame he wasn’t elected leader. The swamp didn’t want him.

(I think Jonah Goldberg said that it was because Jim Jordan refuses to wear a sports coat.)
