Impeachment, the Horowitz report, FISA, battling the FBI, suing CNN, trolling Adam Schiff for getting so much of it wrong — Devin Nunes has a lot to talk about. He goes into detail about how he discovered the FBI’s abuses during the Trump-Russia investigation, and how he faced obstacle after obstacle in his work to make them public. Then, after the Mueller report came out, did he foresee Democrats turning on a dime to impeach President Trump over Ukraine? (Spoiler alert: No.) All that and more in a wide-ranging discussion with the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee.

If Trump were half the authoritarian dictator people claim, a whole lot of people in the soi disant intelligence community would no longer be breathing.

The “Trump is an authoritarian dictator” meme is turned on it’s head with the unrelenting attempts to purge Trump from his “authoritarian dictatorship” (ie: Crossfire Hurricane, Mueller Special Counsel, Ukraine/Impeachment, the current Impeachment for Impeachments sake).

If Trump were in fact an “authoritarian dictator”, then logically it should be Trump’s political adversaries who would be under incessant attack from Trump’s law enforcement and IC agencies.

Excellent interview as usual. It will be interesting to see where Rep. Nunes lawsuit against CNN goes.

Has anyone seen Jonah Goldberg’s column apologizing for slandering Nunes all this time?  I haven’t been able to find it yet but I’m sure it must be forthcoming.  Maybe I should check the Bulwark again…

The Goldberg Nunes apology is under DOJ/FBI review for classified material and potential redaction.

We can expect the redacted Goldberg Nunes apology sometime in late spring/early summer.

David Nunes should write the book on this story. When it is over, which may be a while yet.

We need most of Congress to be composed of people like him. He’s one of the good things coming out of California right now.
