The Left-wing media tells you that they ain’t biased and Republican blacks ain’t black. Kayleigh McEnany disagrees, and Andrew explains why we can all take a que from her going forward. Then, we go into greater detail about Joe Biden’s “you ain’t black” comments, discuss the media running interference for him, and then finally speak with former American Enterprise Institute President Arthur Brooks about what makes us happy and more.

The indefensible and grotesque behavior is from the press. They have not been fair to President Trump since day 1 – not day 1 of the administration but since day 1 of the campaign. They hated him, they all slandered him, they threw away every last shred of dignity and credibility in every attempt to cover for the Obama Administration. They destroyed themselves in the attempt to damage Trump, they’ve all been hoisted on their own petards.

Indeed. But Trump is still kind of a jerk.

    1. I live in Japan, my home for most of my life, where masks have long been a familiar sight. Now with the corona virus, almost all of us, including some children, wear one. But a few don’t–mostly, I note, men. I have yet to see anyone give a non-wearer so much as a cross-eyed look–and this is supposedly a highly conformist society. Telling strangers how to behave is simply not the done thing…I confess that I used to tell off smokers in no-smoking zones, until I realized that I was simply “getting off” on being self-righteous. Besides, I understood that I was simply making a fool of myself.

    2. Unlike Andrew Klavan, I do not know Jonah Goldberg personally, but I have long admired him, both as a thinker and simply as a sane and clearly happy, thoroughly decent human being. I am, I think, on the same wave-length as the Great Klavan in regard to Pres. Trump and am thus utterly baffled why Jonah Goldberg does not see that, in this vale of tears, we should count ourselves blessed that it’s DT in the White House–for all his manifold faults–and not Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, or some other instrument of the leftist agenda.

    3. The interview with Arthur Brooks was most interesting and enjoyable. Please bring him back soon.

Oh, and, once again, Save the Klavan!

I’m gonna keep an eye out, but I’ll be amazed if Jonah comes on. If he does, please ask him the political POV of those providing start-up funding for the Dispatch (not subscribers) and, also, if those backers thrust him into the role of hall monitor for conservatives (thank god I’m not one) or if he’s deigned to wear that sash of his own free will. And, finally, if it is of his own free will, what it is that makes him feel so justified in doing so.
