    Was it ever alive?

    From the start of the country, it was horrible.

    The founders had to deal with the likes of James Callender.

    At the turn of the century, you had Hearst and Pulitzer pushing their own propaganda.

    Even when media pretended to be unbiased, Uncle Walter was a raging lefty..
