Started listening to this one and it quickly became apparent that Andrew didn’t get enough sleep last night. Usually he does not ramble and go all stream of consciousness, but he did here and it was just strange. Still not sure what he was talking about. But he was coherent enough that I can conclude he’s absolutely wrong about Shapiro. He said Shapiro doesn’t like Trump’s outrageous behavior because he’s a moralist and not political. Wrong. Shapiro himself, like Matt Walsh, always claims that if Trump would only do this or that then things would be so much different politically. If you speak to the morality of something then you’re being a moralist, but if you come to political conclusions about something then you’re being just that, political. Again, really weird episode from Klavan.
