Life altering decisions made in adolescence by adolescences are mostly correctable. It may take a little work – a little time – but an adolescent child will learn foresight from these decisions. For example if a child is more interested in one subject more than others, and drops uninteresting classes – the child can make those classes up when those classes turn out to be prerequisites later.

The decision to undergo a surgery or take puberty blocking hormones are not correctable – and will have life long consequences for that child.
