    This is why my wife has two birthdays. She has no official birth certificate and her government ID is incorrect. We still celebrate both :)

    Fascinating interview.  I remember that earthquake and the large number of schools which were destroyed thereby causing the death of so many children.  I did not think about the ramifications of the one child policy to that situation.
