My membership is about to expire. It’s time for me to say goodbye. Don’t take it personal. I’ve canceled all my social media accounts. Ricochet is the last one, and was also the best. I’m old enough to remember life before social media. I think it was better. There are positive aspects to social media, […]
These two guys seem to have undisputable evidence that our 2020 election was rigged, and not the will of the people. If they are telling the truth, then HOLY CRAP, we didn’t have an election, someone else decided the outcome for us. What they are saying is easily proven, or disproven, by someone who knows […]
So a guy shoots a bunch of white people because he thinks all white people are Islamophobic. Where he would ever get such a crazy idea? As I have stated for years, the false white supremacy narrative is divisive. It has now proven to be dangerous. Preview Open
I have a very strong opinion about what is the world’s most important job. I’m thinking of a job that provides benefit to all of us. A profession that has saved millions of lives worldwide. Before I give my opinion, I’m curious what others think is the most important profession. Preview Open
I thought of the perfect costume for Halloween this year. Dress as Joe Biden, and then yell, “MERRY CHRISTMAS’ when they answer the door. Preview Open
I started reading a C.S. Lewis book last night. I came across this statement that stuck me as being a good description of where we are today.
“We must picture Hell as a state where everyone is perpetually concerned about his own dignity and advancement, where everyone has a grievance, and where everyone lives the deadly serious passions of envy, self-importance, and resentment.” – C.S. Lewis
During the early part of the Covid shut-down, my son started taking paramotor flying lessons. The class was scheduled before the pandemic and those enrolled decided they still wanted to take the class. When I found out what he was doing, I decided to take a lawn chair and go watch. It was never something […]
I am a Benefactor member of the NRA. That means, I am a life member who has also donated a lot of money to them. All my kids are life members, and all my grand-kids became life members within a week of being born. Let’s just say, I support the cause the NRA defends. A […]
The new Micheal Moore documentary is worth watching. I can only recall agreeing with him once before. This time he is saying what I, and many others on the right, have been saying for 25 years. If you are concerned about the environment, the actions being proposed by environmentalists are not going to help. I […]

This news story https://www.breitbart.com/health/2020/03/18/report-respirator-valve-manufacturer-threatens-to-sue-over-3d-printed-copies-that-saved-lives/ about an engineer reverse engineering a respirator valve, 3D printing it and saving lives, and a lot of money, puts a negative light on the original manufacturer. However, that negative light should be on the national regulatory agency. This case was in Italy, but the story could have been the same […]

I have a question for those of you who have been trained to take blood pressures. When you were trained, were there any guidelines on how fast you release the pressure from the cuff? I have noticed people who take my blood pressure tend to release the pressure from max to min in 2-3 seconds. […]
During the first Democratic debate, Tulsi Gabbard got noticed. Quickly she spiked to be the most “Googled” topic. During this spike, Google blocked Tulsi Gabbard’s campaign ads and she is now suing Google over this.
Meanwhile, in another part of the web-universe: Steven Crowder discovered that when people used Google to search for his videos by name, his videos didn’t come up on the search. When many of his fans pointed out that they were able to successfully search for his videos, he made a discovery. If the person doing the search was in the United States, his videos didn’t come up. Everywhere else in the world the same search produced links to his videos.
I have what I believe would be an effective strategy for the Republican Party in the 2020 election. The slogan would be, “This Is Not Your Father’s Democrat Party”
Imagine a commercial starting with audio something like this, “Your grandparents, father, and mother, were always loyal to the Democrat Party. They always believed that the Democrats stood for the common man. You felt the same way. Unfortunately, today’s Democrat Party is not your father’s Democrat Party. This is what the party stood for back then.”
On Powerline Blog, I watched two videos of Candice Owens testifying at a Congressional Hearing on White Nationalism and Hate Crimes. Personally, I feel she did a great job, but I wonder if her style of being blunt, aggressive, and forceful will be effective.
You only need to watch about the first and last minute of the second video. The rest you have already heard about a thousand times.
Over the weekend I read Clarence Thomas’s memoir, “My Grandfather’s Son”. I highly recommend the book, but that is not why I am starting this conversation. In the book he mentioned that a friend gave him some advise that guided him as judge. The following is a quote from the book. Preview Open
Three Oklahoma teenagers were killed by a homeowner with an AR-15, when they broke into his house. The homeowner was not charged with any crimes. The grandfather complains it was an unfair fight. He admits the kids were stupid, but he doesn’t feel they deserved to die. Personally, I don’t care if it was a […]
This quote started smoke coming out of my ears, “We cannot accept the offer they made of a billion-dollar slush fund for the president to implement his very wrong immigration policies,” Pelosi told reporters. “So that won’t happen.” She is referring to funds for a wall.
Here is the start of a list of the things that are wrong with this statement:
