@dougwatt Doug, thank you for that video. Officer Mark Zylawy Was possessed of the integrity that Ive seen committed Law Enforcement exemplify and by doing so made me respect the Law at a time when my peers took the cultural path of stereotypes in criminal behavior. I truly value the breadth of your expertise and knowledge. I hope one day slings of fortune make a day where I can knock back a few, shoot at a rusted (and unsalvageable, of course) Chevy Nova somewhere north of the Sonoran. My prayers and thanks to your daughter for serving as well -- your story of her thrashing an abusive oaf os all the proof I need to know strength is not only rooted in ethical heroism but dignity. My cousin, who I hrew up with since I was 3 and lived across the street from in South Central is currently a member of LAPD BabySwat along with being in the Coast Guard reserves. She is the highest ranking Black woman in both duties and works alone in Ranpart district in Los Angeles -- along with having the most non-violent arrests in the precinct three months running.. I confess I feel guilty that my previous lament about encounteees with My local Suburban PD may have sounded flip and impudent -- but I have great respect for Law Enforcement and immense admiration for those like you who manage to maintain an honorable, and more impressively, even-keeled outlook And approach to the difficulties and dangers after a cAreer of duty.
