The Media Actually Notice How Crooked the Clintons Are

It turns out that if you wanted a meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, it was a hell of a lot easier if you dropped a few florins into the Clinton Foundation pot. So says a new analysis from the Associated Press.
The AP looked at a list of everyone Clinton as Secretary of State met with outside the government and foreign ambassadors, and found that more than half had contributed (in one way or another) to the Clinton Foundation. They counted at least 85 of 154 people who met or had phone calls with Clinton. In total, those 85 donors combined to contribute $156 million. At least 40 of them gave more than a hundred grand, and 20 of them dropped more than a million dollars.
Obviously the Clinton people had something to say about that. They claim the AP’s analysis is flawed because they only looked at the first half of her time in office. Yeah, well there’s a reason for that: the AP has spent years trying to get schedules of her time in office and had to sue the State Department to get what they have.
If it were any other year, this kind of pay-to-play arrangement would be a major scandal and sink a candidate. Luckily for Clinton, this ain’t any other year.

Shot,
The Clintons are money hungry dirty going all the way back to Arkansas. Obama knew it and that’s why he tried to force her to take the pledge that she wouldn’t be doing her business as usual as Secretary of State. Neither Obama nor the State Department IG could rein her in. HRC & Bubba are just as dirty as they look.
Regards,
Jim
What I find hilarious is the Clintonistas’ defense: The Clinton Foundation does good work.
That completely misses the point. After wanton disregard for proper email protocol for a high government official, Rodham then demonstrated wanton disregard for, at the very least, the appearance of conflict of interest.
There is not much daylight between these two “defenses”:
1. It’s OK that half of her meetings with non-government-affiliated persons were with people who gave money to the Clinton Foundation, because it does good work.
2. It’s OK that half of her meetings with non-government-affiliated persons were with people who gave her money directly, because she gave all such funds to the Clinton Foundation, and it does good work.
If #2 is clearly disqualifying, #1 is close enough to #2 to be disqualifying.
What’s even funnier is what you get when you ask people what that “good work” is, and to list the actual things they’ve done in the last, oh, five years.
Basically, the Clinton Foundation is a way to pay friends of the Clinton family to run around the world and tell people how wonderful the Clinton Foundation is. And solicit
bribesdonations.
