Jon Gabriel on Superdelegates
Ricochet Editor-in-Chief Jon Gabriel talks with OANN host Liz Wheeler about undemocratic Democrats and the tough primary math for Bernie Sanders. They also cover superdelegates, the electoral college, and differences between the party conventions. Jon will appear every Thursday on “Tipping Point with Liz Wheeler“.

Funny how Socialists complain when redistribution negatively impacts them.
Piffle.
I’ll be appearing on Al-Jazeera America later this week to talk about Super-DUPER Delegates.
I don’t know who this John Gabriel is but he has a face for Podcasts. Maybe he should hide it behind a coffee mug or something.
I bet he’s wearing shorts below that tie and jacket.
Another aspect of these super-delegates — apparently their votes are not private. Which means they are subject to… pressure.
That is their only saving grace given their nature and intention. They can at least be shamed into supporting the candidate with the most votes.
At first, I thought this was Jon appearing on the Onion News Network.
Nice to see the mug come out from behind the mug.
Piffle is one of the most useful words in our glorious language!
I’m going to play devil’s advocate on this one. The United States is not a democracy – it’s a republic. The Constitution provides a number of checks and balances that makes change difficult. The Democrats created a mechanism that makes it hard for a radical to take over their party. Why is that necessarily wrong?
Nice beard! Oh, and great interview too . . .
I wonder . . . if Bernie does win a lot of states, but the superdelegates all go for Hillary and she gets the nomination, is there a chance 1) Bernie runs as an independent, or 2) his supporters don’t come out and vote for Hillary in the general election?
Richochet.com???
A great subject for a post or interview would be concerning how a brokered Republican convention would work – are Trump’s delegates hand picked zealots or are they establishment Repub party members that are obligated to vote for him on the first ballot? How could Kasich and Rubio’s delegates combine to overcome Cruz or Trump? Etc., etc.
