That takes some stones to get out there. Wish him well.

As a Republican, I’m like the donkey between two stacks of hay, or losers as the case may be…

For a Libertarian, having a name like “Loser” is as redundant as having a Republican named “Coward,” a Democrat named “Knucklehead,” or a Green Party candidate named “Hippie.”

(Calm down, all ye Sons of Hayek – ’tis but a jest.)

This reminds me of Ricochet’s quixotic campaign to draft UC Berkeley law professor and Law Talk podcast co-host John Yoo to run for the Oakland Water Board.  You all remember the slogan: “A vote for him is a vote for Yoo.” Inarguable.

But this new campaign offers a tantalizing opportunity for an unforgettable joint run at a larger prize: the Libertarian nomination for president and vice-president.

That’s right, I’m talking about starting a grass-roots movement in support of the Yoo-Loser ticket.

    Joe,

Loser for Liberty?? I’ve heard of carrying a torch but isn’t that going too far. Still I could vote Yoo Loser!!!

    Regards,

    Jim

I don’t suppose he supports Loser Pays legislation.

And hopefully he’s sober! If Loser’s a boozer, that could sink his candidacy.

Won’t work.  They would have to report Trump’s entire campaign as a contribution in kind.

I always vote for the candidate most likely to lose.  I figure it’s much better being able to spend the next four years saying, “I told you so,” rather than having to spend that time apologizing.

I’m with you. Imagine how profound it will be when, like Santorum in Iowa, we learn after that fact that he got the most votes:  “Loser is the Real Winner!”   Sounds almost Biblical to me.

Love to vote for him, but unfortunately I’m in Northern Virginia (Yankee country), where the influx of transplanted government workers has made all  conservatives losers.

Virginia no longer exists. There is only West Maryland.

We used to have an ad that played on the local radio station.  It was for Crook Body Shop.

Their slogan?  “With a name like ‘Crook’, you have to be good.”

I worked with a guy named Loser in Jax FL, he was from NC.
He said it was pronounced “lozh’r”.

There was actually a character in the Star Wars Clone Wars cartoon series whose name was spelled “Savage Oppress”, but was pronounced “Sa-vaaj Oh-press”.  He was the more muscular and more violent brother of Darth Maul.

Unfortunately I’m from California, so I can’t vote for him. The best I can do is make a donation. Hey, it gives me an excuse to get started on Bitcoin!

Sort of off topic, but “A boy named Sue” just isn’t as biting as it used to be.  Probably a lot of them now.
