Was there as much shouting as during the last one? The shouting is really unpleasant.
And the good folks at Drudge do the reason work. Man, we got it made in the shade!
Except for Reason’s ridiculous abortion stance.
When Bernie says “when it comes to a woman making a very personal choice, then my republican friends love the government,” he’s not “making a good point about republicans wanting small government on fiscal but not social issues,” as Reason suggests. Keep in mind that overturning Roe does not entail any federal expansion, but exactly the opposite, as it allows states to make their own laws on these issues. Secondly, the abortion issue is not akin to an expansion of the regulatory state (funny how this hypocrisy the good folks at reason accuse us of seems to no longer be important when it comes to gay marriage); it is far more comparable to the criminal law, and yes, the state does have an interest in doing what it can to prevent the willful killing of human infants.
@iWe I didn’t force myself to sit through it this time, although it was pretty fun actually during the last one while drinking and live chatting. The couple times I checked it out and there seemed to be the same level of shouting. It sounds like the SNL “can’t modulate my voice” skit actually.
I watched as much as I could without shouting (about half). When I couldn’t control myself any longer we had to turn it off. My take away is Sanders is completely untethered from reality and Clinton is a liar who will say anything to get elected.
100% accurate so no need to watch anymore anyway :)
I agree with everything Reason had to say about those two, but they might have also pointed out the arbitrary exclusion of Vermin Supreme from the proceedings!
