Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! It’s great! But, yeah…now I’ll remember that episode of Twilight Zone just as I’m going to sleep and I’ll be up all night.

Every time I’m on a plane with my wife. She should know it’s coming but never does.

This is what it feels like in 2016 America that is for sure.

Twenty years from now, will be all be saying how we really dodged a bullet in 2016, or will we still be trying to understand how everything went so very wrong?

I thought Obama was bad, but next to Trump he looks reasonable.  And next to Trump Hillary looks okay too.

And that is the true twilight zone.

Yes, it is.  I had high hopes for Cruz, but he’s OBE (overcome by events).  Trump is not some simulacrum of the anti-Christ, he’s just advocating for the silent majority. Get over it, all you wise pundits: Krauthammer, Will, Goldberg, Podhoretz, et. al.

Would like to see Jeb as the ineffective stewardess. And should Shatner be playing Cruz, or Rubio?
I hesitate to stretch these things too far, as this is brilliant. Just riffing.

How are people that have consistently espoused conservatism for decades RINOs but a lifelong liberal the savior of the GOP? That, truly, is the Twilight Zone-and the twilight of the conservative movement.

RINO’s are the people who have spent years donating their time, money and effort to our candidates and our ideas.  RINO’s run for office, walk precincts, fund campaigns, or advocate conservative principles on TV, radio, or print media.

Real Republicans contribute snarky one-liners and smug self-righteousness.

Evolution is driven by revolution or the threat thereof. Business-as-usual conservatism, as opposed to red-knuckled change-it-back-now conservatism, is the wetmaid to progressivism.
Those of you who tell yourselves and us that gradualism will somehow result in a conservative revival are ignoring the facts before you.
Merely “espousing conservative principles” does not count for anything in the real world, where facts hold sway. It may go over swell at cocktail parties inside the beltway.

The job of Goldberg, Podhoretz, et al, is to espouse conservatism. They’re pundits after all, not politicians. I think it’s safe to say many conservative pundits (though not all) would prefer to see a more aggressive conservatism, unlike politicians who have to worry about re-election.
