From Nicole Had of the Epoch Times in “Evidence  Reveals that Military Team Collaborated With Lab Where COVID-19 Pandemic Originated: “In late March, overseas Chinese media reported that three WIV staff members started to have symptoms similar to COVID-19 as early as November 2019. Soon thereafter, Chinese state-run media China News reported that the news […]

Starting today, we are in the month to celebrate the god Tezcatlipoca (months are 20 days in the Mayan/Aztec calendar). California public schools are decolonizing the curriculum by having students sing songs of praise to that particular Meso-American god.  We must ask ourselves: Is this just an innocuous multicultural lark? An Establishment Clause violation? The […]

The Big Lie

In recent interviews, Liz Cheney has been calling President Trump’s insistence that the 2020 election was stolen “The Big Lie.” And over the weekend the mainstream media has been beside themselves over the forensic audit underway in Arizona. Today, President Trump decided to take those words and shove them back in the faces of spineless Republicans like her, Kevin McCarthy, and others by issuing the following statement:

Broken Windows

Well, this is a bit of a surprise…Bill and Melinda Gates announce divorce after 27 years of marriage. In case that’s behind the paywall, here’s another report: Bill and Melinda Gates Divorce. I must say, I find their stated reason, that (emphasis added):

After a great deal of thought and a lot of work, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives.

We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue to work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives.

I’ve been maintaining for some time now that eventually these protestors are going to go to far and trip across the “reasonable man test”. The reasonable man test is what is normally applied to uses of deadly force and it simply asks the question: “would a reasonable man in similar circumstances fear for his life […]

Sun Tzu, ‘The Golden Bridge,’ and the End of the Ruling Elite

A retired Marine Lieutenant Colonel, former CIA paramilitary operations officer, and veteran of multiple armed conflicts, revolutions, and contingency operations, has recently published a most compelling, and more than just a bit foreboding, analysis showing why the “Ruling Elite” will ultimately fall. I decided to highlight that excellent piece today because, for me, that “elite”, which gave us Hillary!, Obama(s), John Kerry, Mitt Romney, The Lincoln Project, Liz Cheney, and “President” Biden, cannot collapse too soon.

The Inevitable End of the Ruling Elite begins with the biblical story we all know as the basis of Inherit the Wind after leading with a description of the blindness of the elite:

Returning to the Glory Days!

Was slavery so bad? There was free health care. The standard may have been low, but at least it was equal. Everyone had a “right” to housing. They also got “education,” though slaves were only taught what their betters judged appropriate to their color and status. You could not pass on wealth from generation to generation, but that kind of inherited wealth was bad anyway – it made people unequal. You didn’t have to worry your pretty little head making life decisions; all the indecision and tension was taken out of your life by your Master. You had to mind your tongue, of course: preaching sedition or liberty was a crime, and slaves were told what to think, and be ever-grateful for everything that came their way. Best of all, if you attracted undue attention of any kind, then the Master might come down from his Big House and “help you” by violating your person.

Did I say “slavery?” I should have said, “liberal government.”

Traveling to Hawaii? Here’s What Their Government Has In Store for You.

Hawaii’s COVID Protocols Are Severe, Cases Are Still Going Up, And Your Vaccine Doesn’t Matter. Will We Ever “Return To Normal?”

Most Americans in the lower 48 states are fed a steady diet of COVID news and scaremongering, with the never-ending debates over “lockdown” (read: Democratic) states, like Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, California, and Pennsylvania; versus “free states” (read: Republican) like Texas, Florida, and, to varying degrees, most everyone else.

Being overlooked is the State of Hawaii. It “reopened” to tourists on or about April 5th. They’re not making it easy to visit. And it’s complicated by a surge in new cases, not unlike other lockdown states. And it might make other lockdown states jealous.

The Coming Summer Camp Crisis

When I signed my kids up for camp over the winter, I made clear to the camp administrators that their registration was contingent upon my kids not having to wear masks during the day. At the time, neither I nor the administrators thought that the camp would have to require masks, especially considering the fact that they didn’t have to last year. But we underestimated to sheer idiocy bordering on evil of the CDC and our deep-blue county. The CDC announced it recommended that kids age two and over wear a mask all day, and could only remove them in order to eat or drink or when they’re swimming. My county adopted these recommendations, passing them down to camps recently.

My concern about masking is somewhat unique among my fellow parents in the area; most people in my community have been sending their kids to school all day in a mask all year. But summer camp is another animal, it’s one thing to sit at a desk in a temperate classroom with a mask on, but it’s quite another running around on a soccer field in 100% humidity in 90+ degrees.

May Day Down by Law

ConstitutionMay 1st, May Day, is formally recognized in the United States as Law Day, not Workers Day, and certainly not International Workers Day. We successfully rejected the left’s class warfare agenda for a century because of the reality of American law, grounded in our foundational law, the Constitution of the United States of America. Because of our reasonable reliance on a system of laws, not men, we observed that economic status was not fixed from birth, so the weeds of envy could not take deep root on American soil. That is why the left both set about subverting our system of law and creating a different basis for division, hate, and envy.

The effort to make May Day a class-based workers holiday was driven by the early socialist movement:

In 1889 an international federation of socialist groups and trade unions designated May 1 as a day in support of workers, in commemoration of the Haymarket Riot in Chicago (1886). Five years later, U.S. Pres. Grover Cleveland, uneasy with the socialist origins of Workers’ Day, signed legislation to make Labor Day—already held in some states on the first Monday of September—the official U.S. holiday in honour of workers. Canada followed suit not long afterward.
