After having some fun with reports that science proves conservatives are better looking, Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America welcome mainstream media condemnation of BuzzFeed.  They’re also underwhelmed by Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson, while noting he does have several strong points.  And they lament the San Diego Chargers leaving for Los Angeles after voters rejected paying for a new stadium.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America enjoy reading the Politico story of how the Clinton campaign vigorously resisted efforts from allies to go to Michigan to help her win there.  They also sigh over the carnage in Syria and the latest toothless response from the Obama administration.  And they discuss the state of Keith Olbermann’s mental health as he offers an unhinged rant saying Donald Trump cannot be allowed to take office or else it will mean the end of our independence.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America have only good martinis Wednesday.  They are very bullish about many of the Trump cabinet selections.  They enjoy watching the left prove out radical it is by how it responds to a simple Trump tweet.  And we love watching Senate Democrats regret scrapping the filibuster for political appointments.

So the College Play-offs are almost here and now there are only four matches that matter to determine the teams. Ohio St. and Alabama are in even if Alabama losses to Florida next week. Clemson really should be in with a win over VT and Washington is in if they beat Colorado. However what if […]

This is already an adventurous time in combat sports, as MMA has recently supplanted boxing as the premier form of competitive combat, GLORY kickboxing grows, and virtually all combat sports thrive from the developed world to the Global South. Ultimately, however, every combat sport is likely to find a lull, as a dearth of compelling […]

Congratulations to my Chicago Cubs on their exciting clinching victory last night in Game 7 of the World Series. Cubs fans have been waiting a long, long, long time for this. I also want to commend the Cleveland Indians on their great season, they are a young and scrappy and talented team that will be […]

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America react to Fox News breaking the story that the FBI is running separate investigations into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information and allegations of pay-to-play at the Clinton Foundation while Clinton was Secretary of State.  They also shudder as Fox also reveals that FBI experts are 99 percent certain that up to five foreign governments hacked into Clinton’s private server.  And they shake their heads at Huma Abedin’s ongoing bewilderment as to how 650,000 emails ended up on Anthony Weiner’s computer.

The World Series is tied 1-1. Indians and Cubs fans have been treated to 2 pitching gems: one by Indians ace Cory Kluber and one by the Cubs reigning Cy Young award winner Jake Arrieta. I’m an Indians fan so I wasn’t happy with the outcome of the game last night but losses happen. What […]

Being a Cleveland sports fan is normally a recipe for the acquiring of intestinal fortitude through acute suffering. Well, the Indians have just clinched the American League Championship. They are going to the World Series for the first time since 1997. The last time they won the whole shebang was 1948. What impresses me about this particular […]

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are encouraged by new Senate polls in four states.  They also find some satisfaction in reports that NFL ratings are way down this season.  And they discuss the public spat by Fox News hosts Megyn Kelly and Sean Hannity over their very different coverage of Donald Trump in 2016.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous you appear when you put on a SJW uniform rather than the one that is connected to your paycheck? In the modern era you are paid enormous sums for your ability to run, pass, kick, hit the ball, etc. Or, your ability to support those that possess these […]

Update Again: Because putting this together has been last-minute and very messy, we didn’t get draft off before the first game of the season. For that, I apologize. However, this also means we can extend the entry deadline and draft a few more days! I’ll schedule draft for noon (Eastern Time) Saturday and anybody can join […]
