Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America enjoy reading the Politico story of how the Clinton campaign vigorously resisted efforts from allies to go to Michigan to help her win there.  They also sigh over the carnage in Syria and the latest toothless response from the Obama administration.  And they discuss the state of Keith Olbermann’s mental health as he offers an unhinged rant saying Donald Trump cannot be allowed to take office or else it will mean the end of our independence.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America not enjoy watching the quixotic Jill Stein recount come to a whimpering end but applaud Michigan for using the episode to push for stronger voter ID laws.  They also groan as Donald Trump says he doesn’t need daily intelligence briefings.  And they wade into the growing furor over what role Russia played in hacking the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta – and what to do about it if it’s true.

I just finished watching CNN’s program on Obama’s Legacy by Fareed Zakaria. Fareed is the host of CNN’s flagship foreign affairs show. He’s also a Washington Post columnist and a contributing editor to The Atlantic. I found the CNN program interesting because you could see both the ‘successes’ and the failures of the Obama presidency. […]

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America offer a champagne toast to the military and space heroism of John Glenn.  They are surprised to see a massive jump in economic optimism since Trump’s election.  They shudder as free speech is trampled in the Netherlands.  And they unload on Hillary Clinton after she claims fake news is having a major impact on the nation.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are glad to see Jill Stein’s quixotic recount journey get shut down in Michigan and headed towards an anticlimactic finish in Wisconsin.  They slam the media for only now realizing that many of the new jobs created in the Obama years are low-wage, part time openings that aren’t a long-term solution for families.  And they unload on CNN for suggesting that racism was behind the fierce Republican opposition to President Obama’s agenda.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America correct the record on Tuesday’s faithless elector story and how the new information makes his actions far worse.  In today’s martinis, they react to a Time magazine piece suggesting people stop paying taxes if a president is ever elected again without winning the popular vote.  They also debunk the liberal fantasy that Democrats can somehow confirm Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court before the senators elected last month get sworn in on Jan. 3.  And they slam Pres. Obama for his incredibly misleading statement about terrorism on U.S. soil during his administration.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America groan as Rush Limbaugh says Donald Trump’s trillion dollar infrastructure bill could be a big success – just like FDR.  They also get a kick out of Democrats getting really excited over the prospect of a 78-year-old Joe Biden running for president in 2020.  And Jim unloads on a “faithless elector” from Texas, who says he cannot cast a vote for Trump.

There are five very different types of “fake news” that are being discussed in the media, but nobody has drawn a proper distinction. I will draw the distinction here. Only one of these five types is “real” fake news, and as we will see in their own words, it was invented by liberals to trick conservatives into looking stupid. […]

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America shake their heads as the media and the left go nuts because Donald Trump took a phone call from the president of Taiwan.  They also sigh as the media ramp up an hysterical assault on “fake news.”  And they note that the Wisconsin recount has done nothing so far – except narrowly increase Trump’s lead.

Know the signs before it’s too late: The cost of presidential vacations is about to become scandalous again. All the old knocks that are used only during GOP presidencies are about to be dusted off again. Quagmire. Jobless recovery. McJobs. Candlelight vigils. Code Pink. Every Trump reform will become a “War,” as in “War on […]

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America have all crazy news today.  They slam Pres. Obama for suggesting that Fox News being on in restaurants and bars is the reason Democrats fell short in 2016.  They also unload on BuzzFeed for demanding to know whether popular HGTV hosts agree with their pastor about homosexuality being a sin –  which leads to a bunch of fun tangents about HGTV in general.  And they rip Democrats and the media for throwing a hissy fit about the Electoral College and even intimidating electors just weeks after clutching their pearls about Trump possibly not accepting the election results.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America have only good martinis Wednesday.  They are very bullish about many of the Trump cabinet selections.  They enjoy watching the left prove out radical it is by how it responds to a simple Trump tweet.  And we love watching Senate Democrats regret scrapping the filibuster for political appointments.

President who blames election loss on “Fake News” does interview with a magazine famous for publishing a fake rape story. President Obama sat down for a post-election interview earlier this month with Rolling Stone‘s Jann Wenner, reflecting on Donald Trump‘s win and what Democrats did wrong. Preview Open

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America welcome Donald Trump’s nominations of Rep. Tom Price and Elaine Chao.  We also debate whether Trump should seriously consider David Petraeus given his history of improperly handling classified information.  And we discuss the absurd victim complex of the Ohio State terrorist.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America gladly welcome the demise of brutal Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.  They also slam Pres. Obama and other leaders and media figures for their mealy-mouthed statements about Castro’s record and give Donald Trump credit for getting the story right.  And they shake their heads at Jill Stein’s money grab posing as a recount effort.  They also slam Hillary Clinton for joining the effort and and Donald Trump for alleging voter fraud that supposedly cost him the popular vote.

I’ve been so appalled by the condolences spewing forth from President Obama, Prime Minister Trudeau, and others, that I did a double-take when I saw this headline from the Washington Post. I suppose I underestimated them. Edit: It’s a bit small in the attached file, but their headline was “Cuban dictator, one of the world’s most […]

Specifically, let’s listen to a KGB agent, no not Putin, Yuri Bezmenov who was KGB journalist for RIA Novosti, PGU KGB informant and later press officer of the Soviet Embassy in New Delhi. Since Russian influence is presently alleged to be in U.S. media, who better to hear from than a KGB agent responsible for […]
