I think we all now know why he stayed in the race so long. I’m starting a countdown timer until he endorses Trump…

Tell me again why Trump is the anti-establishment candidate? Because the anti-anti-establishment forces have been full force against someone else …

I’ve been disappointed by #nevertrump, but at least #neverkasich was a success.

I just posted the same.  As I wrote there, could someone remind me what his point was in staying in up until now?  I mean, he isn’t any farther from winning 1237 delegates outright at this point.  The only thing different is that Cruz doesn’t think he can keep Trump from 1237, there won’t be an open convention, and he’s dropped out.

So I’m guessing Kasich was hanging his hopes on Cruz forcing an open convention and then riding in to win the umpteenth ballot.  That’s the charitable version of my thoughts.  The less charitable version is to be a spoiler, kind of blackmailing the other non-Trump candidates to name him as their running mate as the price of getting out of the way.

The even less charitable version is to be a spoiler and hope to curry Trump’s favor in hopes of being named his V.P.

Did he ever surpass Marco Rubio in delegates? Heck, because of the problem that is early voting, he lost to Rubio in Arizona.

So it is done. Meanwhile Bernie is still chugging along vowing to fight through to the end. Kasich was the last to drop out and he only made it to fourth place in the delegate count. Pathetic.

no he didn’t. Rubio had some 170 and he has some 15o.

Nah. Some minor cabinet post, probably. He brings nothing to the table nationally, and Trump can win Ohio without him.

You mean “Trump believes he can win Ohio without him.”  Of course, to listen to some talk, this election is in the bag.  I wonder why so many are made at those of us who will be staying home in November?
