Blue Yeti Lives
The majordomo of Ricochet very much prefers to remain behind the scenes, but this evening I — caught him. Here he is, just outside the Governor’s Mansion in Austin, an hour before he slipped back out of sight to oversee the taping of our Uncommon Knowledge interview with Greg Abbott.
Print this out and tape it to your refrigerator. Yeti sightings are more common.

Hah! Looks happy. :)
There are some of us relative newcomers to Ricochet who don’t know what a Yeti is, much less a blue one. And, yes Ryan, he does look happy. Why? Other than being in Texas, of course…
Okay folks, make up something good here… :-)
If you’ve ever met him, he’s a really nice guy too.
You’ve heard of the Abominable Snowman? Well, this is the Abominable Micman. Titans of podcast punditry tremble at his power of mute and disconnection.
Huzzah!
Thanks Peter. Nice to have a face. He looks like an ordinary guy.
And he writes an impressive rebuke!
Isn’t a Blue Yeti that stuff that myth says falls from airplanes?
I was tricked into posing for this photo.
Tricked or not, we’re so grateful for your fine work!
Blue fur. Very nice!
Wow
Not at all what I expected, but it’s good to have a face to the name. Thanks for your efforts Blue Yeti!
There’s just some guy standing there. Where’s the Yeti? Another one of those infamous “Yeti sightings.” “Look! A ghostly apparition looking out of that left window. It’s Yeti!”
He’s wearing blue.
I vaguely recall one other picture of our fearless micman set at a coffee shop in LA.
I go by my real name on Ricochet because once I saw “Blue Yeti” I knew I could never think up a pseudonym as good as that.
What if you never met him?
Hmmm . . . I envisioned him as a twenty-something hipster nerd (if that’s not a contradiction in terms).
So who lent him the jacket?
He looks like a man, but I think I can see, if I squint hard, small tufts of thick bluish-white hair protruding from under his collar and sleeves. A Yeti indeed.
