Putting The Squeeze On

I produce a lot of podcasts (and TV too), but I rarely appear on them because, well, let’s just say that I am aware of what I’m good at and what I’m not. But when Scot Bertram and Jeff Blehar, the long time hosts of the Political Beats podcast asked me to join them for a deep dive on Squeeze –one of my all time favorite bands– I could not resist.

Last week, our friend Bari Weiss published a letter written by the parent of child enrolled at the Brearley School, a private all-girls school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.  It’s one of the most clear minded and cogent statements on woke culture we have ever read. But don’t take our word for it […]

Uncommon Knowledge Live: Impeachment 2.0 — Can Congress Impeach an Ex-President?

Please join us today at 1PM PT/3PM CT/4PM ET for a rare –and dare we say it?– uncommon event: a live recording of Uncommon Knowledge with Peter Robinson open to the public. Peter will be moderating a panel with John Yoo, Richard Epstein, and Andy McCarthy on whether or not an ex-President can be impeached and whether or not President Trump committed incitement.

Richard and John will take the un-Constitutional side, National Review’s Andy McCarthy will argue that impeaching a former President is Constitutional.

Capacity is limited so, please be try to be there on time. Here is the Zoom link for this event.

Cooke. […]

McMaster debate the right balance to strike in restarting a battered economy, COVID-19’s effect on America’s military readiness, and a scenario in which a second pandemic wave strikes shortly before the fall election.
