Uncommon Knowledge Taping with Antonin Scalia

Attention Uncommon Knowledge with Peter Robinson fans in Northern California: Friday, October 19th at 12PM at the Palo Alto Sheraton, we’re recording a live edition of the show with guest Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. The Federalist Society of Silicon Valley (hosts of this event) are allowing us to offer a limited amount of tickets to the Ricochet community. The tickets are $40 each ($20 for students) and includes lunch. A book-signing will follow.

  1. Punumba!

Can we put forward questions?  I imagine this is one Peter was going to ask: What was Roberts thinking?

    Absolutely. Post them here.

  3. Matt Bartle

Looking forward to listening to this!

(Peter, if you get a chance, whisper to Scalia that there’s no shame in having gray hair.)

  4. Pat in Obamaland

What an honor for Peter.  Congratulations!

  5. Full Size Tabby

Question for Justice Scalia: How does the Court retain its famous collegiality when among the members there are such clear and massive differences in very basic fundamental worldviews? (Less diplomatic phrasing: How do you keep from constantly yelling insults at each other?)

  6. Cornelius Julius Sebastian

Can’t wait to see that! Awesome!  This may be the first time I wished I actually lived in California. I’d jump on tix in a heartbeat.

  7. Don Tillman

    I am *so* there…

  8. Trace

    Registered. Excited.

  9. Mendel
    Trace Urdan: Registered. Excited.

    Ditto and ditto.

  10. Trace

Hey Yeti — Are you going to be present for on-site engineering? Will Diane be there? Is there any chance we can organize a Rico-table?

  11. Happy to do that. Can you all PM me the names you registered for the lunch under (except Trace) and I’ll have the the Federalist Society put you all at the same table.

  12. I spoke to the Federalist Society this morning. They are happy to accommodate your request to be at the same table.  They did ask that you try to arrive on time and then they’ll be able to place you together.
