Nixon, Obama and Enemy Lists

Theodore Olsen writes in the Wall Street Journal about “Obama’s Enemies List: David and Charles Koch have been the targets of a campaign of vituperation and assault, choreographed from the very top.”

As a libertarian, I’m a pretty big fan of the Koch brothers and the work they’ve done to advance the cause of liberty. I’ve worked for a couple of groups that receive fun…

Obama is as thin skinned a man as we have ever had in the office.  Combine that with an odd variety of petulant narcissism and you get hit lists.  The enemies are all capitalists which should tell us something.  We should also expect just about anything, including krystal nacht, from these thugs.

Careful. If you’ve taken down the Obama Shrine in your living room, you may get on a list. But if you leave up Che, you’ll maybe get a pass. So, that’s what I’d do. Take down Obama, leave up Che.

The fact that Obama is so thin skinned should be used against him in the debates.  I would suggest that certain sore points, if needled in enough by Romney, could make him lose his temper.  Obama won’t be able to just walk away like he’s on a tarmac.  He is even less used being challenged and, god forbid, insulted after 3 years of presidential privilege and insulation.  Some classic debate moments could be created.

Obama is unusually good at controlling his temper. He doesn’t hide his mood well, but the fact that he rarely appears flustered makes it very challenging to successfully do what Derek correctly suggests.

Remember when he gave Hillary the finger? Few people do. Those that do remember it with a chuckle. His dirty looks at Paul Ryan? Few people would even care about that.

It would be unseemly to focus on his ears, but maybe eliding MoDo’s comment into speculation on what’s between them would work.

The AttackWatch President, backed by the full thuggery of Big Labor, makes Richard Nixon look like Nat Hentoff when it comes to civil liberties. He will find it difficult to avoid holding the election, however.
