I’m composing this on Sunday evening, the day before Hallowe’en, to be sure to catch the attention of Claire, in Turkey, and Judith, in Israel (I don’t know if anybody carves pumpkins over there, but I thought I’d at least give Claire and Judith to comment on Hallowe’en in their parts of the world), but I herewith do my best to get things rolling with a couple of shots I took in our own neighborhood last year.
