Imagine If Trump Had Said It
Powerline has a post up today about President Biden’s recent remarks, in which he proposed fixing our nation’s recent crime wave with gun control. His statement was not entirely coherent, he wandered about a bit, and concluded with this: “Those who say the blood of Patriots, you know, and all the stuff about how we’re gonna have to move against the government … If you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons.” Now, I’m not suggesting that Mr. Biden intends to say whatever he just said. He might have intended that as the direct challenge to dissidents that it sounds like, but was slurring his words and was clearly confused. Hard to say, I suppose. But.
Imagine that President Trump had surrounded the Capitol Building with razor wire and armed soldiers. And then imagine that he said something like that… Imagine how CNN would respond to that. And the morning news shows, and the late-night talk shows, and basically everybody else; just imagine. They would be screaming from the rooftops that he was acting like a tyrant. And they would have a point.
Excuse me while I surf over to CNN’s website, to read the vicious criticisms of Mr. Biden’s press conference; this should be good…

All his talk was just bluster. Everything he said about what he was going to do to gun dealers are laws already on the books. IMHO, what he intends to actually do is use Federal law enforcement agencies to try and entrap as many honest firearms dealers as possible, or fine them out of business if one “i” is not properly dotted or “t” properly crossed.
Not the first time a Democrat has threatened this. Only this time the guy has the Football and is clearly demented.
The idea of pointing out the hypocrisy of the Left is getting tired. The Left don’t have principles and are below the idea of hypocrisy. For the Left everything is about POWER.
As for Jabbering Joe, that guy is a corrupt, old-ass fool who lies a *lot* to further the POWER of the Left.
It is scary and ridiculous how the (D)/MSM/Big Tech/Culture Combine shape the narrative and decide which issues we take seriously and which issues we ignore or do a drive by.
For the MSM to ignore the obviousness of the embarrassing national and international disaster that is the Biden Presidency is journalistic malpractice and dangerous for the Country and the world.
Mr. Biden might need to reflect that he is unwilling to commit our military to subdue 60-100k Taliban. If he thinks it would be easier to subdue 100x that number, he really has lost his grip on reality. An F-15 is not a terrific weapon with which to fight a domestic insurgency and the notion of an American president authorizing a nuclear strike on a domestic target is risible.
Kurt Schlichter had a pretty good takedown of the WH press corps (corpse?) with a list of questions they should be asking Creaky Joe, but won’t.
Kurt Schlichter gives journalists some questions to ask the president after his comments about needing F-15s and nukes to fight the government – twitchy.com
Yeah – that’s the part that really got to me. Having The President of the United States threaten a nuclear strike against The United States is horrifying. Even if it was an indirect threat. Even if he’s senile. Even if he mis-spoke.
I don’t care – that’s horrifying.
F-15s? What decade does he think he is in today?
Funny, but we still use them.
There was no mention of prosecuting individuals that commit gun crimes, you know the individual that actually pulls the trigger. Guess who can’t pull the trigger? An individual that spends decades in prison after pulling the trigger is the answer.
As Senator Kennedy said the cop who shoots someone is at fault, if a criminal shoots someone the gun is to blame. My handgun has never obtained the keys to my car and crept out in the middle of the night to drive to the nearest convenience store, or to shoot at people on the sidewalk.
Well the F-22 and F-35 have trouble actually flying consistently.
That is a good series of questions. If it were me, I’d ask a variant of the next-to-last one first (“How many American citizens would you kill to retain your hold on power?”), as it is relevant for the gun control debate in general.
The goal desired by many gun control advocates is confiscation of all or most privately held firearms. Achieving that goal will require the widespread use of force for both the searches required as well as the confiscation itself. “What level of casualties (deaths) are you willing to accept to achieve the goal of complete elimination of privately owned firearms?”
I don’t know which is more alarming, that he would say such a thing as president of the United States or that we and the rest of the world have become used to tuning out the president of the United States. We know what the rest of the world knows, that he is just a figure head.
This is the sick relationship between the civil service and the elected officials that the BBC series Yes, Minister captured so perfectly. Because every other country in the modern western world works that way, they assume we do too. “Back channels” are the only channels.
Someday it may happen that the Trump presidency will be viewed as the last moment in which America was actually alive.
Me, I’m looking on Ebay for a good, serviceable A-10.
Sez you. Sneaky things, those handguns are!

For those who don’t do Twitter, she posted,” hands up, don’t nuke.”
The US government has not successfully prosecuted and won a war in how many years?
Should we citizens be afraid?
Democrats always fail to understand scale. They fail to understand the scale of anything but they are really bad with gun control and military force especially, so while I know I am in some sense preaching to the choir I really can’t help myself. The US military has about 1.4-2 million people under arms and all law enforcement agencies have about 1.1 million, and falling fast thanks to democratic policies. That puts a total theoretical enforcement pool of 3.1 million for gun confiscation, plus it would be illegal for the US military to actually engage in this activity, but we’ll leave that to the side for a minute. An estimated 4 in 10 Americans own guns. That is 144 million people. Needless to say the disparity in forces is enormous. The Taliban is estimated at about 60-100 thousand people and they have tied down they US military for 20 years to a point in which we are going to withdraw. Somehow, however, the Democrats believe they could successfully prosecute a civil war against Millions of Americans.
Of course before that happens we have to ensure that the police are defunded and the military is purged of system racism and remember we must make sure we have gender inclusion and proportional representation of all 58 genders including nuetrois and two spirited people in both the police and military. Fundamentally this are unserious people making unserious policies for bat-bleep crazy people on twitter.
Lots of us wore masks, didn’t we? Lots of us took the jab, didn’t we?
Maybe “Should we citizens be afraid” isn’t the question
Added to the Democrats’ efforts in creating Fortress Pelosi in Washington, D.C., Democrats are showing quite the tendency to declare war on the citizenry.
Joe Biden has had logorrhea for decades. He has been consistently wrong on foreign policy and demonstrated political cowardice on countless occasions. He has lied about his personal life ad infinitum. It’s interesting that many never Trumpers were the same people assuring us that Biden was a decent guy while he lined his pockets along with those of his entire family. It took a corrupt dedicated legacy media along with unprecedented election shenanigans to elect this jackass POTUS.
Why is anyone surprised that he is now incoherent on the relationship of the government to its
serfscitizens?Headline from The Babylon Bee today:
Huge Spike In Americans Buying F-15s After Biden Suggests You’ll Need Them To Overthrow Government
This wonderful piece even includes man-on-the-street interviews:

“…this should be good…”
Yeah, good and short…
Yeah, but the problem is finding those depleted uranium rounds for the gun. Still searching Ebay; I’ll let you know…
A 30mn round doesn’t have to be made of depleted uranium to really screw up your day.
Ordered mine on Amazon.
Even an increasingly Woke USAF is unlikely to strafe and bomb US citizens. What a truly bizarre visual from a brain-damaged malignant buffoon with a silly caricatured understanding of the meaning of the Second Amendment. And this is the guy we elected to protect the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. What a travesty.
Right. But they have all the super new electronics.
Right.
