An Encouraging Development from the Largest Digital Publisher in Europe

In the wake of the recent attacks on Israel by Hamas, the largest digital publisher in Europe, Axel Springer Verlag in Germany, raised the Israeli flag outside of its corporate headquarters in Berlin. Some of its employees raised objections to this act. The response from the CEO of the company in a corporate video conference held last Thursday as follows:

“I think, and let me be very frank with you, any person who has problems with us flying the Israeli flag for a week, after the recent Anti-Semitic protests, should look for another job.” (From Die Kreuznacher Rundschau).

You can find out more in a slightly longer piece by our friends over at the Daily Wire here: German Media Giant’s Message To Employees: Find A New Job If You’re Anti-Israel.

Axel Springer publishes the most-read tabloid paper in Germany, Die Bild Zeitung, as well as Die Welt and Business Insider, among other periodicals. It is also a major book publisher, in addition to being the largest digital publisher in Europe. Let’s hope they set a trend.

There is much me-tooism that is hailed as “courageous”. These are truly courageous actions.

What great news, Hartmann! If we could only see more courageous acts like this one! I have heard that the Europeans are starting to get wise to the machinations of the Palestinians, and it’s a slow slog, but here’s hoping people are actually interested in the truth.

I was just going to say that very thing.

God speed you, Axel Springer Verlag, through the shoals and storm you face.

if it were easy, everybody would be doing it.

    This is most heartening!

Interesting.  I checked to see if it was a public company with the idea to buy some stock–I like to support good guys.  Today’s stock price close is the highest it’s been all year.  May they continue to grow from strength to strength.
