Someone (probably at flag level) had to approve this &%#@.

That someone should be court-martialed just out of general principle.  How could they embarrass the US Military in such a fashion?

    Crimenutely.

    Julia** goes to war.

    Heaven help us.

The people approving this nonsense have embarrassed themselves. The rest of us, including any and all rational members at all ranks of the armed forces should be very angry.  I should think Vlad and Xi are wetting themselves with laughter.

**It’s not as easy to find the original Life of Julia on the web as it once was.  She seems to have largely been scrubbed.  Here’s what Fox had to say at the time: https://video.foxnews.com/v/1622104534001#sp=show-clips

That was appalling, worse, it was embarrassing. I am embarrassed for my country. I shouldn’t be surprised. The elite want us to believe that men can become women and women can become men simply by saying it is so. If you believe that kind of fantasy, you will believe that a cartoon character can easily defeat hardened, trained, and motivated soldiers like the ones in the Russian and Chinese recruitment films. No wonder Biden got elected!

I wonder if the new Secretary of Defense is responsible for this. Our military is happy to attack Tucker Carlson but will be clobbered in a war with China.

When I was in the Air Force, the joke was combining

Army, “Be All You Can Be”

    Air Force, ” Aim High”

    into

“Be As High As You Can Be”

I’m really afraid what will happen if we fight either Russia, China or even Iran.

Worst case scenario all three combine to stomp us.

So what does an 18 year old male, great athlete, military family, who is anxious to enlist and apply to be a Navy seal do when he sees this?  Move to Russia?

The important thing is she is being ‘challenged.’ Don’t worry about your country – who gave you and ‘your 2 moms’ all those freedoms.

I once asked a civilian woman who was working aboard one of the US Navy’s first feminized ships during an operational deployment, “How is it going on that ship?”

She replied, ”Well, frankly it’s a floating brothel.”

No doubt the ship’s Captain was given a medal at the completion of her ship’s highly successful, history making deployment.

I thought the “I have two mommies” was a joke- then I watched the video.  It was cringe-inducing.  Not only did the ad fail to inspire any sort of patriotic spirit or inspire me to sign up, it actually offended me and cast our military in a poor light.  It made it less likely that I would want to join.  It was a failure on every level- which shouldn’t come as a surprise considering who is running the government.

    A few thoughts:

    1. The Chinese recruitment video was top-notch. I obviously couldn’t understand the language, but the tone and the message were clear. The message says “Taiwan, we are coming for you – try and stop us.” Probably a bit too authoritarian and aggressive for America, but I would take that any day over that flaccid, embarrassingly woke, disaster that our military is shamefully displaying.
    2. While the Chinese and Russian videos displayed strength, martial prowess, discipline, and determination (all seemingly relevant traits one would want in their recruits), the American video (that of course, just HAD to feature a female – though not to discredit our female service members, and I suppose we should be grateful that it didn’t feature a non-binary person..) was created as a cartoon…. featuring walks on the beach, protest rallies, and two moms..
    3. I found it odd, but not surprising, that “defending freedom” apparently means holding a sign in a gay right’s movement, instead of, ya know, actually defending freedom. It’s also interesting that the reason that Emma joined was because of “her calling”, instead of some higher calling like defending one’s country, or a patriotic duty. Keeping in line with the woke message, it’s all about Her Calling, and Her Truth, etc.

I can only hope that this plague of woke rubbish runs it’s course quickly, before it can do more damage than it already has.

That worked with Sparta but it the idea behind Sparta was to have sex with other dudes in other to become more masculine and improve your martial technique and discipline. I don’ think that’s what the USA ad is going for.

Spartan mothers to their sons: “Come back with your shield or on it”.

Something tells me Emma’s two mommies won’t be telling her that.

And, yes, the ship received the Navy Unit Commendation for her “exemplary” service during the Gulf War.  (Groan)

    The Love Boat….

“There’s colorful precedent for such disaster. When the USS Acadia, a supply ship, was on deployment during the Gulf War in 1991, 36 women in the crew of 360 were transferred to shore duty because they came home in a family way. “
