Rebekah Jones, the COVID Whistleblower Who Wasn’t

Since I have not seen anyone post Charles C. W. Cooke’s wonderful piece of investigative journalism here, I felt I should.

This is an amazing tale–fun to read. MSNBC swallowed her story about Florida hiding Covid deaths whole. Turns out that the only dumb thing that Florida did was (1) hire her and (2) keep her on the payroll after she was revealed to be a crazy person, wrecking their IT. There’s sex and guns and cybercrime. Stranger than fiction.

I strongly second the recommendation; it’s a very well done article.

The only question is why anybody took her seriously? Maybe she’s just that good as a con artist.

Next career move  for Rebekah Jones …. paid contributor “healthcare/Covid expert” on MSNBC.

    You can bank on it.

She can socialize in the CNN and MSNBC green rooms with other experts in their field like John Brennan, James Comey, and Andrew McCabe, etc.

Rather than feel embarrassed or remorse about these scandalized ahrsehats the Left steers into the skid and pretends these experts are completely on the up and up and any objections to their credentials and expertise is just Right Wing Fox News induced nuttery.

Passing resemblance to the Theranos gal, though obviously not up to the same caliber.

They can’t really send her off to Harvard on a full scholarship at her age, can they.

The Narrative Drivers seek out these folks as grist for their propaganda mills.  Fame seekers and zeolots like her and Vinderman gladly oblige by spinning tales to please the Narrative Drivers.  People should refuse to be cowed by the Narrative pressure and push through.  Get a wristband with “what would DeSantis do?”.

This all starts with the inexplicable fact that she was hired as a “manager” in the first place.

Like the Andrew Cuomo grandma killer story, the Jones saga has been known since last spring (Polimath was one of the first to explore it in detail and Max Nordau has been covering it on a continuing basis for months, exposing Jones’ lies).  It’s good Cooke wrote his piece and it is getting more attention.  It has been convenient for Democrats and the media to believe Jones and push her fabrications since it fit into their “DeathSantis” theme, one they continue to push even now.

Corporate media loves to talk about this big lie – here is an example of it

They did everything in their power to portray Ron DeSantis as created a mess in FL while praising the likes of Whitmar and Cuomo

    Ahem: https://ricochet.com/935771/rebekah-jones-the-left-in-a-nutshell/

I have not read Charles Cooke, but I did read several bloggers.

I also heard DeSantis made Christine Pushaw his new press secretary.

The young lady spins fast, I’ll grant her that. She really does come across like a cut-rate Elizabeth Holmes.
