And That’s The Way It Is
NYPD Dispatcher: I need an officer to respond to a trespassing call at CBS.
Officer Riley: I’ll take that call.
Officer Riley arrives at the CBS building and checks in with the security officer at the front desk. The security officer informs him that a transient is rooting through the wastebaskets in the “60 Minutes” offices. Officer Riley rides the elevator to find his subject.
He steps out of the elevator and an employee leads him to the transient. As he walks down the corridor, he glances into offices and sees papers scattered on floors and overturned wastebaskets.
He comes to the last office and there he finds a transient rummaging through the trash. He handcuffs the deplorable, and asks him; “What’s your story?” The transient replies; “I’m searching for the truth.” Officer Riley replies; “You won’t find it in this building. Let’s go, you’re under arrest.”
A tip of the hat to the “60 Minutes” reporter that badgered Governor Ron DeSantis, and whoever edited the story on Governor DeSantis.

Ain’t that the truth!
He should have asked the guy what the frequency was.
Only were his name Kenneth.
When Democrats DEFEND a Republican ……….
Whomever you ask is Kenneth. It is how it is done.
But the transient has at least some of the right idea – if the truth is in the building, it is in the trash. The stories and information that are not presented in their broadcasts.
I remember Kenneth.
Not that Kenneth.
Probably.
You need to quote Pontius Pilatus- “What is the truth”- he was the consummate politician.
Doug, one of the funniest ones I have seen. As Hancock would say “good job.”
I dunno. That transient sounds awfully sane to me . . .
