Write a Caption on 2021
This picture was on the back cover of the alumni magazine for the military junior college I attended in the ’70s. I have no idea who these people are and there is no caption or explanation anywhere in the magazine. Up to a year or so ago, if I had been shown this photo and told it was from the far-off future of 2021, I would have assumed the United States was going to be under a fascist dictatorship. I might not have been wrong.

They’re standing in front of the library/“headquarters” building. I looked through the entire magazine-nada.

I thought it was a promo or album cover for a German punk rock group.
It doesn’t appear that there is anything on the red and blue flags but you can only see then at one angle. It would make an interesting caption with their face coverings in front of a library: “Caution: censorship within”

Hardly a menacing group. They look like middle aged softies who have never done anything objectionable in their lives.
They are Biden’s pall bearers rehearsing for The Big Event. They bear a stunning resemblance to Kamala Harris supporters . . .
Pull the masks up over their eyes and it would look like they were lined up for execution.
If they did, the virtue signaling would be gone.
My original title to the post was, “Sie Werden Einhalten,” or “You Will Comply” in (probably bad) German. I agree that the new title makes it a lot funnier.
