On ABC’s “This Week” Sunday political show, there was an exchange today about the election:
Stephanopoulos, a former Clinton official, stated as a fact that the election was fairly won by Joe Biden. As evidence for this, he cited that the results were certified. Evidently, certification is never done incorrectly. I guess he would also say there was no voter fraud when Lyndon Johnson won the 1948 Democratic Senatorial primary in Texas, since it was certified. Box 13 didn’t exist. Intimidation of Republicans refusing to certify results in Michigan also didn’t exist.
The second piece of evidence in favor of election integrity is the Justice Department signing off on it. We can all trust the bureaucrats in that department. The destruction of Arthur Anderson based on specious arguments didn’t happen. The prosecution of Senator Ted Stevens, which was thrown out, must have been impeccable. Let’s see the Justice Department investigation and the solons who did it.
Rand responded that the election was not carried out in many states based on the Constitution which states that electoral rules are set by the state legislatures; George didn’t deal with that argument. By itself, that could have changed the election. A real reporter, Sheryl Attkisson has come up with quite a list.
It’s time for the mainstream media to start investigating fraud rather than repeating tired arguments that it could not have changed the election.
