God Bless America

Joseph Biden is now our President. May God continue to bless this great country and keep all of us safe. Were we to descend into depression, we would not be Americans. Faith is a belief in things unseen. Let us have faith in the depth and breadth of the decency of our fellow Americans. To believe that these next four years will be the end of the United States sells us short. We have faced worse before. No fight is ever truly lost because no fight is ever truly won.

Smile. Be not afraid. Draw inspiration from our glorious history. Onwards.

Remember Washington on Valley Forge or the 442nd infantry regiment who still loved America in the camps. No sunshine patriots there.

Thankfully. People who like America breed. People who don’t like America dye their hair and are perpetually unhappy.

Those who cross the border illegally include large numbers who have no hatred for America. That hatred is taught and we should work to nullify that teaching because it is ongoing across America.

I think the first step in fixing the country is to take back our public school system from the America-hating left.

Or burn it to the ground. Either one.

(I’ll note that the incoming administration has already removed the 1776 commission report from the White House website. Can’t have accurate American history being disseminated, can we?)

What does Halle Berry in a swimsuit–or whatever–have to do with your topic?  If you’re appealing to prurient interests, that’s tacky and low and lost on, presumably, all or most of the ladies on this site.  Show some class, mister.

    Moderator Note:

There is no implication in this comment that the objection to the photo is anything more than to the state of undress of Ms Berry. Your personal attack is unwarranted.

Halle Berry is an American.  I am proud to be an American as well.  I feel sorrow for anyone who feels compelled to judge a person, any person, by their physical characteristics.  I could just as likely have posted a picture of John Wayne or Mark Twain or Brit Hume or Bea Arthur, etc.

Interesting take.  I must note that I was always irked by the left saying the same thing about Trump.  I have decided to accept that he is my president but that I disagree with him profoundly and am deeply embarrassed by him and what it says about our country at this moment in time.  I said the same thing about Obama and it seemed to work for me.

But I understand where you are coming from amigo.

Hey, I just read your profile.  I am Ukranian American and come from two generation of Air Force officers.  My Grandfather flew the first squadron of P-38s in WWII.  In fact, modern aviation warfare is computed from the moment the first German bullet hit his P-38 soon becoming the first plane shot down by the American Air Force (then the Army Air Corp) in WWII.  My brothers and I kept the bullet in my mother’s jewelry box but you can see it at the Air Force Museum in Ohio.

    Cheers.

The enemy within is also the enemy on the outside.  The word is “China” and we should keep a close eye on what happens the next few months.  I still wouldn’t be surprised if the invasion of Taiwan is imminent . . .

My Democrat neighbor asked if I watched the swearing in today. I answered why I would watch that fraud.  He said so you think the election was a fraud. I said yes but that’s not what I was referring to.He asked what I was referring to. I said Joe’s whole career starting with his law school exam cheating. He huffed. I smiled. We still are friends.

I included a photo of Ms . Berry because she is a fine American.  I see lots of photos on lots of posts.  She is the first black woman I have ever posted.  She is the only person’s photo I have ever seen scrubbed from the site.  I will leave it to the editors to explain, should they chose to do so, what it is about Ms. Berry that is so unacceptable.  I would love to know the guidelines regarding people of color.  I’m not being difficult.  I wish to fall in line.  Just tell me what type of persons are not to be seen and I will snap to.  Would it help if I posted her photographic negative?

Dear Moderator, not a word of her post mentions in any way any reference to anyone being scantily clad.  The photo is a still shot from a PG-13 movie.  This photo was approved for children.  I understand your problem with it.  I think we all do.  I can find another person to post.  The right kind of person if you catch my drift.  This is so exciting.  I just heard my first dog whistle!

I would also like to know what the issue is. How is that image offensive or inappropriate? There are posts and comments on this site that are infinitely more insane than that photo (and every other post is a conspiracy theory), yet those are not removed.
